I started playing drums at the age of 9 and started playing in bands a few years later. Since my twin brother is a guitarist I have been exposed to playing the guitar a lot, which led to me learning to play the instrument aswell. For me it was a natural thing to do, because I always wanted to play a big role in the writing process or write my own songs.
What I really fell in love with much later was the bass. In terms of rhythm and feeling, I think it connects the most with me being a drummer, but I also simply love being the harmonic fundament in a song. I'd also always wanted to play the piano and I've begun learning how to play a few years ago. I'm not a great player, but I usually tend to write my songs on my MIDI-keyboard now.
The idea of me learning how to play the keyboard/piano was attended by my increasing interest in recording/producing music at home. I started demoing songs and projects as soon as I left school and went from there to producing electronic music and records for my band.
With the knowledge I gained over the years it became possible to be a part of other projects such as soundtracks for games or short films and this blog was created to share this diversity of projects and music I'm working on.
